About Bloom
What does Bloom Leadership do?
We're an executive coaching firm based in Charlotte, NC. Leaders work with us three ways: 1:1 executive coaching built on the Bloom Development Approach®, invite-only Business Growth Groups for owners and executives, and Understory—an immersive farm retreat in the North Carolina mountains. Every engagement starts in the same place: clarity about how you're wired and what you're building toward.
Where are you located—and do I have to be in Charlotte?
Home base is 120 Greenwich Rd, Suite D, Charlotte, NC 28211—and no, you don't. We coach in person across the Charlotte area and virtually with leaders across the U.S. Same methodology, same accountability, wherever you lead. Call (704) 702-2628 or book a free consultation.
What is the Bloom Development Approach®?
The BDA® is our proprietary methodology. It pairs the science of the Hogan Leadership Forecast—your strengths, your derailers, your values—with a development plan across five areas of your life and leadership, then adds a structure of real accountability to execute it. Clarity first. Then the map. Then the work.
Do you use Hogan assessments?
Yes—they're the backbone. Taproot, our $3,500 entry engagement, is the full Hogan Leadership Forecast plus two private sessions (up to 90 minutes each) to work the results, with a science-backed written report. It applies as credit toward any package within 60 days.
Coaching & pricing
What does executive coaching cost?
We publish pricing openly—rare in this industry, and deliberate. Taproot is $3,500. Trellis starts at $25,000—six private sessions in three months and your full BDA® development plan. Canopy starts at $50,000/yr—everything in Trellis plus a full year of execution. The numbers live on our pricing page so your consultation can stay about you.
What's the difference between Trellis and Canopy?
Trellis builds your map—priorities, milestones, and the tools to execute. Canopy is the year that makes it stick: 24 private sessions, unlimited text and email access, and honest accountability across all five BDA® areas. The plan is the easy part; the year is where change either sticks—or slides back to comfortable.
How do I get started?
Book a free consultation—a real conversation, not a pitch. Trellis and Canopy then begin with a needs interview so the engagement is shaped around you, and a 10% deposit holds your start date—fully refunded if we decide together it's not the right fit.
Business Growth Groups
What are Business Growth Groups?
Coaching, peer advisory, and accountability in one room. Small, invite-only groups of owners and executives: two leaders take the hot seat each month with a focused hour each, and every member gets a quarterly 1:1 with Meredith. $995/month with a one-year commitment; $250 reserves your interview and assessments, refunded if you're not accepted.
Are Growth Groups an alternative to Vistage?
Same family—confidential peer advisory for decision-makers—but boutique. Groups are curated using values and personality science, not just title and zip code, and the work is anchored in the BDA®. If big-room formats stopped fitting, this is the smaller, sharper version.
The Understory retreat
What is the Understory retreat?
A 3–5 day immersive leadership retreat at The Farm at Understory in the North Carolina mountains. No conference center, no name tags—deep work across every area of the BDA®, in a small cohort matched by values and personality science. The first cohort gathers Fall 2027.
What does Understory cost, and how do I secure a spot?
$18,000. Seats are limited and hand-picked: sign up on the Understory page to begin securing yours. Your reservation is refunded in full if we decide together during the interview process that it's not the right fit.
Fit
Who do you typically work with?
CEOs, owners, founders, and senior executives—many in their 40s and 50s, past proving themselves and asking what all of it is building toward. First-time CEOs. Family businesses. Leaders whose next chapter won't write itself. If you're the one carrying the decision, this was built for you.
Do you work with teams, or just individual leaders?
Both. Many leaders bring Bloom to their people—Taproot works team-wide, so each of your executives or rising managers gets the full Hogan Leadership Forecast, two private sessions, and a written report. The whole team ends up sharing one language for how it leads, and we build team-level development from there. If you're weighing leadership development for your team, that's a conversation we have often.
